On June 8th and 9th, 2024 the La Costa Racing Team held the Schools Out event in Poway, CA.
The weekend was full of smiles from both new and old faces. The scenery was beautiful and the sun sure was shining down!
Saturday consisted of Dual Hybrid Slalom. With the help from our friend JBH, we had a really fun course set for us. Thank you JBH, wish you could’ve been there! Racing started at noon and things ran absolutely perfect the whole way through. Way to go team!

New comer Phoenix, managed to snag herself a third place finish at her first ever slalom event. Congratulations Phoenix. She a natural and we hope to see her back out.
Moving onto Sunday, the event that everyone was really looking forward too, Giant Slalom! Everyone arrived around 10 am and practice got started pretty quick. Everyone was feeling really dialed on the course that our very own Kelley A. set for us.
