Isa Ruiz, born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has been immersed in the world of skateboarding from a young age, thanks to her father, Joe Lehm, a prominent skateboarder and owner of Skate School Santa Fe. Influenced by her father’s passion, Isa began skating early and quickly developed her skills across all disciplines, with a particular passion and talent for slalom skateboarding.
In 2022, Isa made her debut on the USA Slalom Skateboarding National Team, competing at the World Skate Games in Argentina. She showcased her exceptional skills by securing a podium finish in Giant Slalom. Isa continued to build on her success with another podium finish in Giant Slalom at the 2023 World Championships.
Isa’s impressive performances on the international stage are supported by her sponsors, which include Sk8Kings Skateboards, Turbo Wheels, Don’t Trip Trucks, Timeship Racing, S1 Helmets, and Riptide Bushings. Beyond her achievements on the board, Isa plays a significant role in the slalom skateboarding community. She serves as the Marketing Director for USA Slalom Skateboarding and chairs the La Costa Racing Team marketing committee.
Now in her second year on the US National Team in 2024, Isa continues to inspire and elevate the sport of slalom skateboarding, both as a fierce competitor and a dedicated advocate behind the scenes.
