As we host the Banked Slalom World Championships with an ISSA sanction in Albuquerque for the first time, the stakes have never been higher. Join us for two action-packed days of racing from May 7th to May 10th, 2024, in ABQ, NM, where the world’s top riders will battle it out for the title of World Champion. Then enjoy two additional days of shuttle runs on the busses, riding Albuquerque’s renowned ditch drainage system!

This year, we’re proud to announce a groundbreaking cash prize, equally split between men and women. It’s a testament to our commitment to gender equality in sports and a celebration of the incredible talent in our community.

With fast-paced action, heart-stopping moments, and the chance to witness history in the making, Ditch Slap 2024 promises to be the biggest race yet. Registration is now open for this year’s event, and will be capped at 70 riders. Paying your entry fee is the only way to guarantee your spot on the shuttle buses or in the races. When registering for 1 race only, or 1 day only, please let us know in the comments field which one you are signing up for. Once you have registered you will receive an email with detailed info to help you arrange lodging and prepare what you’ll need to bring for this unique event. May 8th: Timed Special Banked Slalom Race 9am-12pm
May 9th: Shuttle Buses 9:00am – 3:30pm
May 10th Shuttle Buses 9:00am – 3:30pm

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES and NOT having a helmet will VOID your shuttle pass privileges until you find yours.
