Competitive skateboard slalom racing is returning to Columbus Ohio! Join us on August 8 & 9, 2026 for the BUCKEYE OPEN 2026!

The asphalt at Big Run Park has been resurfaced and is ready for some fast racing! In partnership with Rojas Customs, we are bringing slalom racing to Big Run Park in Columbus OH for two days of racing.
We will start off on Saturday (Aug 8th) at 9AM in the morning with Hybrid slalom practice, followed by qualifying and head to head racing. Next we will repeat the process with Tight slalom courses. Sunday (Aug 9th) at 9AM, we will hold the Giant Slalom racing as well as a speed trap for Ohio bragging rights. Special BEGINNERS course will be set up on the flat area of the hill for juniors and any novice or first time skaters.
Delicious food and drinks will be provided both days, courtesy of the Rojas family.
We will have extra boards to use, as well as extra safety equipment (HELMET is always required). Reasonably priced accommodations are available in the area. Avid Hotel Columbus NW is about 13 minutes from the hill. https://www.guestreservations.com/avid-hotel…/booking…
Registration fee will be $60 for both days, or $30 for just one day.
