TX Sizzler 2025 kicked off the USA season of ISSA main sactioned races. With 50 riders, some great racing and a special award presentation by USA Slalom Skateboarding were had!
Unfortunately, the weekend of racing started off with rain on Friday afternoon. It was light enough to arrive on the hill for registration and friendly gathering. The course was set so racers could walk the course and know what to expect on the postponed GS race for Saturday morning.
Giant Slalom
On Saturday, the Texas Outlaws along with help of other racers set up the course and BAR (starting ramp) for giant slalom. Once everything was setup, racers started practicing getting familiar with the course. More and more skaters started trying the BAR, and proved that it was giving the fastest times of GS.
Hybrid Slalom
After GS, we quickly set up for hybrid slalom in Houston, TX. It was a grueling course that made for some great racing and matchups!
Tight Slalom
We woke up bright and early on Sunday and got to racing! In between practice and racing, we paused to present the 2024 USA Slalom Skateboarding awards. Check out the news article for the USA Slalom Skateboarding awards here.
